8 Week Restorative program

Pregnancy and childbirth are a unique experience. It is also a pretty scary and uneasy experience. It doesn’t make us weaker to admit that it’s unnerving and it won’t make us any stronger to ignore we’re going through a lot. 

Our bodies & emotional health should be a priority.

My question is, why isn’t there more helpful information on postpartum changes? Why don’t we discuss Diastasis Recti, pelvic floor dysfunction, and the many other postpartum issues? That was my personal experience, there were no immediate resources or support available to me when I experienced these issues.

Physical & mental trauma are present during & after birth.

We have to rebuild, restructure, strengthen and rehabilitate our bodies, specifically our pelvic region. We are incapable of “bouncing back” from such trauma. It’s a process, and after giving so much of ourselves and sacrificing some bit of normalcy for complete mayhem, we deserve to have our bodies back.
